Next stop – Cabot Head - where a meandering narrow road leads you to this picturesque lighthouse & museum. View the artifacts in the restored keeper’s dwelling and climb to the lantern room for a view over Georgian Bay. (Open May 1 to Thanksgiving weekend, 9am – sunset). When you’re finished exploring, board the boat back to the harbour and make your way to the Parks Canada Visitor Centre and climb the look-out tower for a bird’s eye view of Georgian Bay before heading inside to view the exhibits, including a fabricated replica lighthouse and flowerpot. Finish up your day at the Big Tub Lighthouse, which has been guarding the entrance to Big Tub Harbour since 1883.
