The Lighthouse & Marine Heritage Tour will have you exploring more than 50 Georgian Bay Lighthouses and Marine Heritage attractions!

Visit over 25 lighthouses, including 6 limestone towers built in the 1850’s, known collectively as the Imperial Towers. Board a glass bottom boat to tour the shipwrecks of the Fathom Five National Marine Park, the first of its kind in Canada. Visit the Nancy Island Historic Site to view the hull of the HMS Nancy Schooner and explore the recreation of a War of 1812 British naval base complete with replica tall ships at Discovery Harbour. And don't miss a guided tour of the only existing Edwardian Steamship in the world, the S.S. Keewatin.

At the end of a day exploring the rich marine heritage of Georgian Bay, relax in a quaint B&B, historic inn, or one of the best hotels or motels that the area has to offer. Sample some local cuisine as you discuss the day’s events, and plan for tomorrow’s adventure!

Please note: The accessibility of each of the lighthouses on the tour - some are open to the public, others offer viewing only, and some are accessible by tour boat or private boat only.
