Gore Bay

Located on the northwestern portion of Manitoulin Island, Gore Bay can be found nestled between two splendid bluffs. Visit the Harold Noble Memorial Park and enjoy the spectacular view over the east bluff.

Gore Bay is situated on the North Channel, a world renowned sailing destination famous for its majestic bays and inlets. The town’s 150 transient slip full service marina offers water and electric hookups.

Stroll through the quaint tree lined streets and admire the elegant historic mansions, or meander along the boardwalk from the docks along the south end of the bay.

Spend the day exploring with a drive to the nearby town of Kagawong and a visit to Bridal Veil Falls. Hike the Cup and Saucer Trail for a spectacular view, or head west of town to the most western point on the Island and the village of Meldrum Bay. Close by you will find the Mississagi Lighthouse complete with a museum and restaurant.

Gore Bay is the ideal base for exploring all the attractions that Manitoulin Island has to offer, inland as well as on the water.
